Blackman & Sloop Welcomes Two New Members to Our Team!

Paige Otos joined our team on August 3, 2015 as a Senior Tax Manager, and Elisa Gover joined us on August 24, 2015 as a Senior Associate.

Upcoming sponsorships to watch for…

Blackman & Sloop have many upcoming sponsorships in support of some great organizations. They include: The North Carolina Subway Group Golf Tournament, Meals on Wheels Golf Tournament, the Orange Congregations in Mission softball tournament, Chapel Hill Public Library Foundation’s Murder Mystery Dinner, Empty Bowls event to help support TABLE which provides healthy emergency food aid to over 400 children in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, and the NCACPA’s Making Cents which is a financial literacy program.  We’re excited to partner with such great organizations!

CPA Day of Service

Blackman & Sloop recently participated in the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants CPA Day of Service. This great program encourages accounting firms to donate their time to organizations in their community. The team at Blackman & Sloop were excited to help out at two local nonprofit organizations; Orange Congregations in Mission and Club Nova. Thank you to all those team members who gave of their time to help these two extraordinary organizations.
