Happy New Year! We are excited to kick off the 2019 tax season and we’re also excited to share what we have been up to since our last newsletter.

Conferences/Seminars/Events:  

The BDO Alliance Mini Area Meeting was held in January. Blackman & Sloop was pleased to host the marketing and BDO roundtable on the 9th;  Amy Ford and Carla Daniel sat on the panel for HR/Recruiting Innovations and Best Practices on Jan 10^th.

Office Happenings:

The team had their annual Secret Santa Gift Exchange and Reveal party on December 18th.

On December 7th, we held our annual Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Triangle Holiday gift wrapping party.  Afterwards, we headed to Maggiano’s for lunch.

Our company meeting was held on January 11th and we are thrilled to announce that Christy Fasciana was awarded the Rock Star Award for her hard work and dedication to our firm and clients!  Afterwards, we hit the lanes for an afternoon of bowling.
