The local accounting firm of Blackman & Sloop, CPAs, P.A. is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert Lewis, CPA to partner.

Rob has served Blackman & Sloop for more than two decades—he joined the firm in 1998 as an associate accountant. He specializes in providing tax and assurance services to non-profit organizations, construction companies, and privately held businesses. Additionally, Rob is responsible for developing and nurturing client relationships, managing staff on audit engagements, and serving as a mentor for other team members in his department.

A 1992 graduate of the University of Scranton, Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is currently affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). Raised in Jessup, Pennsylvania, Rob currently lives in Mebane, North Carolina with his wife, Jennifer, and their son, Ryan.
