The local accounting firm of Blackman & Sloop, CPAs, P.A. is pleased to announce the addition of G. Paul Foster II to their professional team.

Foster joins the firm as a senior audit associate. In this capacity, he is responsible for planning and executing assurance engagements, including supervising less-experienced associates with whom he is teamed. A professional in the field since 2015, Foster spent the last six years serving in the Audit Department of a Conyers, Georgia, public accounting firm.

Paul as he joins the firm,” said Andrea Woodell Eason, CPA, CGMA, Managing Partner at Blackman & Sloop. “Right off the bat it was clear that he would be a great fit for our team. I think that our clients will love working with him and will benefit greatly from his experience and know-how.”

Foster earned two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, from Oakwood University. He went on to study at Capella University, graduating magna cum laude with a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. He remains involved with his alma maters via their alumni associations. Professionally, he is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA), and the American Board of Forensic Accounting (ABFA). Originally from Wisconsin, Foster currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife.
