Courtney Murphy, CPA

Courtney joined Blackman & Sloop in 2023 and serves as Senior Manager of the Business Advisory department. She brings over 23 years of experience, including 4 years as Engagement Director for CAST Accounting and over 10 years as a sole proprietor. Her daily work involves managing and overseeing the Business Advisory Team to achieve firm goals and deliver excellent customer service. 

Courtney lives in her hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina, with her spouse, Chris, and their six children. When she is not working, Courtney enjoys traveling with her family, running, doing yoga, and listening to music. She is a fan of college football and can often be found attending one of her kids’ sporting events.
