Jennipher Branch, CPA

Since 2021, Jennipher has been an integral member of the Blackman & Sloop team. In her capacity as a senior manager in the firm’s Tax Department, she is responsible for performing key tax preparation, review, planning, and consulting functions. She specializes in performing small business tax and advisory services and enjoys working with clients to help them understand the financial side of their business. Jennipher works with clients in a variety of industries including real estate, restaurants, construction, pharmacy, and retail. Prior to joining Blackman & Sloop, she amassed 14 years of valuable experience working in public accounting.

A dedicated professional, Jennipher is always willing to help. She sees assisting her clients in understanding their businesses and finances as the chief arena in which she can help them grow. Getting to know her clients and building strong relationships with them is one of the keys to Jennipher’s career success. She also credits the support of her family, friends, and coworkers, all of whom have encouraged her and helped her to learn and grow professionally.

Originally from Freeport, Maine, Jennipher currently lives in Durham, North Carolina with her two cats, Molly and Sophia. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, reading, traveling, volunteering, and “bourbon hunting.” Jennipher enjoys living in Durham because “there’s something for everyone.” She loves the universities, sports, amazing restaurants, entertainment, and easy access to both the beach and the mountains. When she has the opportunity to travel, Jennipher loves to visit Orlando, Florida and go to Universal Studios.
