HAPPY NEW YEAR! As the 2022 year begins, our team is getting into the swing of things for tax season. Take a look at the exciting things that have been happening since our last newsletter.
Promotions and New Hires: Welcome Kerry, Jennipher, Julie, and Caryn!
- Kerry Walker joined the team on 11/17 as a Tax Associate
- Jennipher Branch joined the team on 12/6 as a Senior Tax Manager
- Julie Devin joined the team on 1/3 as a Tax Associate
- Caryn Gross joined the team on 1/17 as a Seasonal Tax Associate
Volunteerism/Community Events:
This Fall, we were excited to be able to get back out in the community and Pay It Forward! We cooked and delivered a meal to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. The Ronald McDonald House cares for families in life-altering moments, days and months that children spend in area hospitals. The House offers physical comfort and emotional support through programs dedicated to the well-being of the whole family.
We also held a food drive, collecting food items and delivering them to TABLE. Through their hunger relief and nutrition education programs, TABLE delivers nutritious food to children in Orange County, NC every week and educates them about healthy eating habits.
And of course – we held our annual toy drive and Wrapping party for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle! Always a favorite!
Office Happenings:
On Nov. 9th , we had our second Lunch Bunch Discussion. The topic was “Committing To Uncomfortable Things” from the “Pick The Brain” Podcast
We kicked off our holiday celebration with our annual Thanksgiving potluck, and Elvie made his second annual appearance in our office! We wrapped up the holidays with our Holiday Celebration at Mez!
